Such a disgrace for a show that is this terrible now to get a nomination, while a brilliant show like the Simpsons didn't get a nomination during its prime seasons from season 3 to 8.

They didn't get nominated because they didn't submit to best comedy series, they always submit to the animated category. It's their own fault that they didn't get considered, they never took the risk of submitting an episode for consideration.
If anything, Seth should be praised for trying to push animation back into the public eye by forgoing the animated category and going straight for the comedy nom.

It used to be funny, now they just do the same tired jokes over and over again. It is nowhere near the best comedy on TV.
its about time family guy gets the recognition it deserves it a brilliant show. i can't wait for season eight

If I watch other comments, they all say: "Family Guy is stupid, it isn't as funny as it used to be, it doesn't deserve to be nominated, south park beats family guy every day of the week."

Family Guy is awesome and very funny and it manages to keep up it's funlevel every season.
Every season has super funny episodes and everyone who says south park is much smarter then family guy.
But Seth McFarlane is a f*cking genius that he could think of so many funny jokes.
That's wat I can tell you.

OMG...this show is hilarious I love it. Its about time it got the recognition it deserves. I got the entire DVD Collection for Free and I watch them all the time. Especially when I need a pick me up (usually on Monday mornings, ugghhh). I love it. If you never watched this show, I would highly sugest you get this set. You will be glad you did.

I can read everywhere that the simpsons should have got an award and that this means that FG beats the Simpsons.
Simpsons never posted their serie at the Comedy Emmy instead of the animated category. This is what the Simpsons did. They never took the risk of posting it there.
FG gets what it deserves.

WRONG!!! the simpsons competed twice for outstanding comedy series (for seasons 3 and 4, or seasons 4 and 5) but the show wasn't nominated. family guy was nominated because the number of nominees in the category was extended to 7 and there was very little competition. had the simpsons been submitted for outstanding comedy series this year, it would have definitely gotten in over family guy, and if the show i submitted next year family guy can kiss another outstanding comedy series nod goodbye.
